How can you charge like a third less and still be the same quality as the big brands? Call me a skeptic.
National brands spend a lot of money on expensive advertising. Since Hy-Top is a store brand, and can be found throughout the store, we let the label and the price do the talking. We also choose manufacturers (sometimes the same ones who make the national brand) whose business goal is to offer the best for less.
Private Label
What does "private label" mean?
Some people call it a store brand, a private brand or generic, but it all just means Hy-Top is not a nationally advertised brand that typically spends a lot for consumer research, new product development, and fancy marketing tools. Our grocery partners sell Hy-Top brand for one reason: to provide their valued customers with a line of good-quality, affordable items they can count on to help manage their money in a tough economy.
